Brian Singer’s “Home Street Home” project encourages a second look at homeless

[Brian Singer] Home Street Home is an urban awareness campaign aimed at increasing the visibility of, and empathy for, the homeless. Every day on my way to the office, I’d walk under a freeway overpass that provided shelter for many homeless people. One old man was always there, wrapped in a blanket, reading books, smoking cigarettes and listening to a small radio. He was there every single day since I’d moved in, until the day he wasn’t.
