[Alyson Kuhn] The first event I attended at the 73rd annual Carmel Bach Festival was a one-hour lecture by singer/teacher/raconteur David Gordon preceding a performance of the St. Matthew Passion (1727). Gordon is indeed passionate about this subject, and his talk was not only brilliant but surprisingly, well, Alysonian. Copy Jam! On Thursday March 25, from 6–9 p.m., contributors to the blog printeresting.org will host a reception at Philadelphia creative collaboration Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction. “COPY JAM!” will coincide with Mark/Remarque, the 2010 conference of SGC Philadephia, and the city-wide festival Philagrafika 2010. [LS] COPY JAM! will be an interactive print event. During the party, 50 works by 50 artists will be displayed in a grid on the wall. Upon arrival, each guest will be handed a complimentary ticket that can be exchanged for one black-and-white photocopy of any work the guest chooses.
